Ipe is the longest-lasting frame material by a wide margin — decades outdoors, effectively a lifetime indoors — with aluminum and HDPE the best alternatives for outdoor use. For cushions, solution-dyed acrylic holds up longest among fabrics and reticulated (drainable) foam among fills.
